Like Facebook, now the users of Twitter will also experience and enhanced and improved profile from December 12. This update will allow the Twitter users to add a cover photos like Facebook and some other services.
The idea behind this update is that they like to the users to expand their identification on the service. In this way the users will be able explain their profiles in broader sense that they want to show off to friends, family and colleagues. These updated profiles are now available on the desktop as well as on the official Twitter apps.
According to the official statement issued by the company, these enhanced profiles will be available to all Twitter users from December 12th. In this regard, the Twitter has issued the following statement;
“A few months ago, we introduced new Twitter profiles so that you could make your profile beautiful and display your style on your profile page. By uploading a header photo on twiiter.com or our mobile apps on iPhone, iPad or Android, you can make your profile more uniquely yours. We have seen a lot of cool takes on these new profiles including shots from Mars, silly themes and brands and celebrities expressing themselves in clever ways. On December 12, we are rolling out to all users: you will automatically get this new version of of the profile to the twitter.com. If you do not upload a header photo by then, you and everyone else will only see a default grey image on your page”.
